Fybogel Orange 30 sachets

Contains ispaghula husk, a natural fibre which can help to relieve constipation. It is an easy-to-use and pleasant tasting way to increase the fibre in your diet.

It helps your digestive system work more efficiently and gently relieves constipation preventing straining, discomfort or unnatural urgency + helping to restore and maintain regularity. It adds bulk to our stools making them easier to pass. Fibre is crucial for the digestion of food in the gut.

Fybogel Orange is sugar and gluten-free and has no chemical stimulants.

It is also recommended to help maintain a normal bowel function for patients suffering from any of the following conditions:

irritable bowel syndrome
colostomy or ileostomy
haemorrhoids (piles)
anal fissure
persistent diarrhea associated with diverticular disease
ulcerative colitis. 

Fill a glass with approximately 150ml (quarter pint) of cold water. Pour in the required amount (see dosage below). Stir well and drink straight away, preferably after meals.
Dosage

ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER 12: One sachet or 2 level 5ml spoonfuls of Fybogel Orange in the morning, and one in the evening, or as prescribed by your doctor.

CHILDREN 6-12: Half - 1 level 5ml spoonful, morning and evening, depending on age and size. If there has been no movement after three days of treatment the doctor should be consulted.

CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS: To be taken only on medical advice, half - 1 level 5ml spoonful, depending on age and size, morning and evening.

A small amount of abdominal distension and flatulence may sometimes occur.

Due to its aspartame content Fybogel Orange should not be given to patients with phenylketonuria.

Fybogel Orange is contra-indicated in cases of intestinal obstruction and colonic atony such as senile mega-colon.

Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine.

Patients allergic to peanut or soya should not take this medicine.
